Mohammad Nazir Md Shah or DrNaz of www.drnaz.net emailed me and ask for one of the 3 slots remaining for the free review that I am giving away during this 50th Independence Day Celebration. He has given me the URL of www.drnaz.net, but upon further review I realized it is actually redirected from a wordpress.com blog with the url of http://drnaz.wordpress.com/. I am curious on why he did this, but maybe he is in the process of migrating from free hosting to a self hosted one.

Okay, back to the review. The blog is actually a medium used by DrNaz to attract potential clients to his list of services that he provides e.g how to create emergency fund plan, education plan, presentation help, retirement plan and so on. Interested party can emailed him for further consultations. Maybe this is the reason why couldn’t find any monetization of adsense, adbrite or reviewme anywhere in his blog. From the archive section, DrNaz has been blogging since 2006 and his blog got a PR of 4!

The blog got a nice feel to it, with properly placed recent and archives on the right sidebar.
But some improvement/comments that I recommend to DrNaz are:

1. First, use your self hosted privilege and get a wordpress.org blog. And then you can redirect the old one to the new self hosted blog. By using the self hosted then you can put on plugins, php scripts and more.
2. Put some monetization minimally like adsense, your blog got a good PR and don’t waste the opportunity to make some money from the internet.
3. The category buy & sell confused me a lot..which one is you want to sell and which is you are selling?
4. The same goes for the my advisor’s category, won’t hurt to put some introduction above the list.
5. Limit the number of article that was copied from other source(it is nice for you by giving credit to the source ). It is better just to give the links and some intro.

Overall, the blog is good, got lot of contents and must have a steady readership, since I am not able to find out because of no feedburner count orany sitemeter link to guess the popularity.

Of course the above comments are based on my personal opinion alone; it is up for DrNaz to consider it.
