I joined the internet money making from blogging bandwagon in June 2007, that is only 3 months ago. Before that I make a mistake of joining a HYIP programme that crashed out 3 months after I joined. Although I made a small profit in it I am sure there is something better than it and learned about making money from blogging. I search for guidance, articles and success story from the net and do a research on what niche is the best(fastest way.. ) to make money online.

While surfing the net, I was amazed to find a Malaysian Blogger who can make around$1,000 from adsense programme easily(I knew this because he make a blog to show off his earnings with printscreen and all-I don’t know what happened to this guy maybe he got banned or something now.) Later on I was a regular reader on Problogger, John Chow, Sabahan, DoshDosh, Boing Boing, John Cow(now I read the Cow first then Chow..)

I set up around 10 blogspot site in different niche and maintained it twice in a week. At the end of June, I managed to make $249.41 from adsense alone. My target on the first month is to make 10 dollar a day or $300/month. So my target was not met. I upped the ante on the following month and set a target of $15/day/ $450/month. I managed to get only $267.10. On August the target is $20 a day$ 600/month but I managed only $348.83. Not bad I guess for a newcomer but I found out that putting all eggs into one basket is a dangerous thing and tried to use different monetizing program.

What I want to share with you is that setting up a target and goals is very important to get you motivated. Getting lazy and unmotivated in this online business is very easy since there is no boss or employer to appraise your performance on a daily, monthly basis. I have a friend that have all the ideas, goals, tools but did not make it (yet!) because he started all kind of blogs/site but did not focus 100% on one of them. Matt if you are reading this again, sorry but this is to motivate you.

Other than that, finding an inspiration or example blog is vital to prove that if he/she can do it then it is not impossible for anyone to succeed as well. For me Malaysian Bloggers inspires me more than others due to the fact there are in the same country as I am.

I don’t claim to be an an expert in this make money blogging field, I wish I can say that but not yet. What I can do is share what I have done so far, my humble knowledge and maybe we can go along this path together and be successful in this adventure.

My target is $1000/month at the end of the year 2007. (a dream? maybe but this dream is better those HYIP that I told you earlier. )
