Darren Rowse of problogger.net is currently holding a Birthday Bash giveaway. Talking about a $54,000 giveaway! Mainly the prizes are given by his sponsors. I have write about linkbait being the bomb this season, and I am sure this is one of the best linkbait since tons of site are going to link back to problogger.net!
Surely being the No1 in almost any make money online list in the whole blogosphere is not enough for him since the challenge is greater when you are on top (they say the wind is windier on top of a hill than below).

Yes that is a screenshot of my humble workplace. Notice the adsense cheque that I just received from google this morning. If the Western Union withdrawal is successful, maybe this the last cheque from google since WU is much faster.

indeed a good example of linkbait, allthough I doubt how effective all these contests will be. Linkbaiting is still about originality to my opinion…

If your prizes is attractive, it will be effective. Linkbaiting is not always about prizes sometimes. It can be a hot news, you e-mail some big time bloggers about it and BOM! You got all the links coming in!
