My plan and target for October.
Getting $678 in total income last month really was a great motivation for me to push even further this month, making money in the internet is a real deal! But to beat that record for me is not going to be easy. One of my friend told me that he will settled for $200 a monthly to help pay the car installments but that is like telling Spurs to settle for 4th place in the EPL every season. We all want more!
Today I just received my 3rd adsense cheque and as usual it was through DHL secure and fast shipment from Dublin, Ireland. It normally takes 3-5 days to reach here. Even last month cheque not even cleared until today by Bank Muamalat (no worry, they charged RM5 only! 
)
Entering my 5th month in this make money online journey this October, I had to review my plan and goals that I have set out earlier. The target set was:
- $1000 a month at the end of the year. (67% achieved)
- 1000 visitors a day on average. (33 visitors a day currently haha long way off .. )
- Full time blogging end of 2008. (hmm if I achieved $3000 a monthly, I will!
- The first page of Google search for ‘make money online’ in the whole world. (currently–ermm I basically don’t know
)
For the month of October, the targets:
- Break into the top 100,000 of technorati rank. (currently 157,654)
- Break into the top 350,000 of alexa ranking. (currently 402,025)
- Get a google pagerank (a 4 will be nice)
- The first page of Google search for ‘make money online’ Malaysian category (currently no15-2nd page)
- $750 total income.
Don’t forget the Top Commenters contest that is currently running here in Rajawang.com. Looks like Chris is in the lead early into the month, FYI linking back from your blog’s post to Rajawang.com will also be counted as comment. You know about this Chris, right?

About the make money online target; did you consider buying textlinks with that phrase?
You can buy very cheap textlinks via TNX.net Im currently testing it out with 10$ myself (got me over 4000 links or so)
ohw btw; you can sell textlinks as well with the program

no not yet, still waiting for that. I do have active links purchased right now, so im curious to see how this will work out..
In a way it’s funny; the price of a textlinks is partly determined by the amount of Yahoo Backlinks. By buying backlinks to your site you increase this number and therefor upgrade the selling price of your own links… nice model

I am waiting for TNX’s approval as well but I don’t think you can earn money right? You can only earn links or give out your points for others to earn.
Hopefully all your targets can be achieved! Go go go!

you receive points for your links, and you can sell those points for $$
so you CAN earn money with TNX.

My blog is not even 3 months old yet and this is why I am not eligible for most of the services. Waiting…
The admin of TNX wanted me to quote a price for TNX review and I quoted $15, do you think is appropriate? He accepted promptly and makes me think like I offered too low. I offered $15 is because I don’t have any PR and by traffic is not yet 1,000 per day. What do you think?

I think a review for TNX is good anyway, since it gives you a chance to gain referrals…
So from that point of view I think any amount of $$ is fine
I just sold a few links by the way. A link on a PR5 page of mine, which is non-english, went for 6000 points (currently $7.20) which is not bad I think..

Thanks gaman, always good to hear some motivation from a ’senior’. Maybe someday we can get a dot com mogul lunch gathering in KK in the future just like what JChow is doing. But before that we must be earning $20K a month!
