Yes, It takes loooonger time to clear Adsense Cheque in Malaysia.
I deposited my last cheque using Bank Muamalat on the 5th sept 2007 and finally received my money today, 19th of Oct 2007. That is a 44 days clearance. And yes, Muamalat is the cheapest at RM5 to deposit your cheque in Malaysia but too bad there is no online banking for real time checking of account balances. The cheque is $501 ~ RM 1653 that is a $1.00 ~ RM3.30 conversion rate. (I hope the US will not drop anymore)

I have switched to western union method of payment starting this month and I hope it will be a breeze getting my hard earned money next time.
I have deposited my $324.41 adsense cheque yesterday 18th Oct so based on the 44 days calculation it will only be cleared 30th November the latest.
How long did you wait for your cheque to be cleared last time?

Congratulations on getting the money, although it took some time, it can be used in the end right?
I think for us who made money in US currency are in the middle line in supporting whether the US Dollar rate should rise or fall. If the rate goes up, we surely made good many after being converted to Ringgit but this also means that the price of goods in our country will become more expensive as well.

I deposit my Google Adsense cheque at Public Bank. The cost is quite high (RM25) per cheque but the services is quite fast. It takes me 25 days approx for clearing.
Anyway. USD will never goes beyond RM3 sooner because our Malaysian economic is still under major problem. Look like it maybe gone back to RM3.50 by July 2008.
