I finally reached $USD 1,000 a month! Hooray!
Weewit! $1000 a month is no longer a dream! I just can’t wait for the end of the month to blog about it. View the screenshot below:
The screenshot picture shown above is of 26th January. That mean I reached the goal with another 5 days to spare! Hooray! I reckon I will be getting another $200 in this 5 more days and will end up with around $1250 for the month of January. Of course I am very happy because this income is almost the same as my monthly salary. To get that kind of money on a part time basis is just great and I wonder if going full time will much better of an option in the future? Just maybe.
The stats:
- 8 months to reach this target (June 07 - January 08)
- 5 main blogs excluding this one (which I might reveal later in the future
) - Original target is on December 07 (thanks to the festive season I got a very low adsense income)
My guess is that most of the bloggers who runs adsense ads in their blog is getting an increase in their earnings as long as the traffic is almost the same. For an even detailed assumption on why the adsense earnings is going up you can read Gaman’s post here. I recently got my highest earnings of $90.64 which is still my personal record so far.

Hi, I feel envy looking at your adsense earning. But hey, you deserve it and you know what. It not that easy to earn that much money via adsense. Wish you can share your knowledge as to how you can make them click that ads. more click more money…..to be honest with you, to date I have earn about US$3.00 since the begining.
Anyway, This to me is a great achievement. You must be proud to earn USD$1000.

Hi,
I stopped using AdSense as there is no increase in earnings though it’s showing valid clicks. Any idea why?
I am not banned by the way, nor am I clicking own links.
Will setting up altogether new ad units help?
(Earnings for a month was $13.28 before it stopped counting)
