Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

It is a new month and I would like to kick thing of with my list of Top 5 recommended Money Makers.

  1. Google Adsense
  2. Widgetbucks
  3. AuctionAds@ShoppingAds
  4. Kontera
  5. Nuffnang

Google Adsense

adsense

Most of us will start with google adsense. I am sure the majority will agree with this statement. I will be surprised if someone actually learned anything else before adsense. Google display simple text and image ads on your blog that are targeted to what you’re writing about. Google has been a consistent money maker for this blog. I have earned over USD$1OK from June 2007 through adsense, and that is a lot. CPC ads, Payment via Western Union. Very Fast. Minimum Payment USD$100.

Widgetbucks

widgetbucks

Specifically targeted to USA and Canada visitors. So, if you have a targeted audience there Widgetbuck is the thing for you. WidgetBucks features pay-per-click shopping widgets that help our customers make money fast. They instantly display the most popular products based on buying trends of 100 million shoppers. Thus they are highly engaging, which means instant dollars for our customers. Widgetbuck is alive and paying. Pays via PayPal. Minimum Payment USD$50.

AuctionAds

shoppingads

AuctionAds is one big eBay affiliate. What AuctionAds does is put all their publishers into one big “collective” to go after the higher revenue share. Publishers can leverage AuctionAds’ creative delivery of eBay’s auctions and AuctionAds’ ability to achieve the higher performance incentive tiers with the aggregate volume of traffic to make more money than they could with their own eBay affiliate relationship. This is a CPA ad. Pays via PayPal. Minimum Payment USD$50.

Signup for AuctionAds here.

Kontera

kontera

Kontera ContentLink allows you to make money from advertising without giving up any current advertising spots. Their technology reads your post and turns certain words into an ad. The highlighted words are double underline and an ad pops up when you hover over it. Minimum Payment USD$100.

You can sign up here.

Nuffnang

nuffnang

Nuffnang will not enter my top 5 recommended money maker list if this is compiled 2 months ago. But as thing turns out, first cheque and glitterati status and all - nuffnang will be one of my top money makers from now one. Sorry Advertlets. CPC, monthly cheque. Minimum Payment MYR50.

Signup for Nuffnang here.

That’s all for my recommended money makers. Good luck all!

I will post my income report tomorrow. Stay tuned. Earnings dropped!..

Example of a successful ‘Parody Site’

Tuesday, September 4th, 2007

Parody site are actually a site that is built to copy the look and feel of a famous site. The best example is JohnCow.com which is a parody of JohnChow.com. It is also a make money online blog with endless similarity with the original ‘evil’ website. After JohnChow change to a new theme recently, the look of the site is no more similar but I am not betting against the Cow popping up with the same theme design in the next few days or week. It makes me thinking whether the Cow is actually a Chow in disguise. (more…)

My “Make Money Online” mini research.

Wednesday, August 15th, 2007

I set up this rajawang.com in the Making Money Online niche and will maintain it that way since I don’t think it is impossible to make a name in the field, contrary to an article by Gaman of Sabahan.com in his article A beginners guide to making money on the internet. Of course i got other sites that are generating more earnings than this but this is a challenge that I am more than willing to take.

Recently, I have talk about Importance of Search Engines Ranking before, but the question that comes up to my mind is did the top 3 search in the “Make Money Online” keywords blogs really made lot of money from it? (more…)

Thursday, July 19th, 2007

By John Tozzi

From cat pictures and celebrity gossip to tech news and politics, the stars of the blogosphere earn plenty of dough, regardless of subject. Some bloggers start their sites intending to make big profits. But most of the bloggers we talked to had more modest expectations, and saw their blogs unexpectedly turn into businesses as traffic picked up and ad dollars rolled in. Here’s a look at how some of the most popular blogs make their money.

How Top Bloggers Earn Money

I found out the article above when searching for making money from blogging recently. The most interesting was about the story how a picture of a cat with the tagline “i can has cheeseburger” explode and become one of the most successful story of accidental blogging success.
