I have thought of making a favicon for this blog for a long time but too lazy to do the codings and image required. But thank goodness there is a wordpress plugin that eliminates the trouble and make it very easy to make one.

As you can see, this blog now have a $ icon up in the URL address bar and also on the tab.

I have been trying to speed up my blog loading time since some of regular readers are saying that it is loading slowly.

To my amazement that the other 4 blogs that I regularly visit everyday have a faster load time compared to rajawang.com(much faster). Maybe the type of hosting plays a part here since I am on the cheapest available hosting plan from eternalsolutions compared to other semi or dedicated server. WTF, 4.13 seconds!

Number of ads
Put some ads but make sure that the loading time of your web site should not increase with image size otherwise the visitors will try to browse other websites while your webpage is still loading. For me, the nufflets ads are the main culprit for the loading time and I decided to put it out for the time being.

You can check your website speed test here. Hopefully your load time will be speedier than mine.

I went home late yesterday and found out that I can’t accessed this page, and found out that advertlets.com is the reason for this. And guess no more! The page is expired! How can that be?

I was worried that the company is abandoning the whole idea that started well for advertlets.com. But some of the bloggers that already wrote about this. And maybe we can check them out; If you have advertlets coding in your blog then remove it all and hopefully your blogs wil up and raininig again.

One of my idols in this make money online blog is non other than Gaman’s Sabahan.com. But as many of you who is also a regular reader in sabahan.com may already know is that he only post 4 post in December due to him taking a mini break from blogging. As I was checking the Alexa ranking of this blog, I tried comparing it to other prominent bloggers that I know in the same niche as Rajawang:

There is no way that I will be near 5xmom.com but what surprises me is that Sabahan.com and Rajawang.com got the same Alexa graph level right now! You can see that the red graph dipped tremendously due to the lack of new post in December 2007. But my guess is that things will be normal again after Gaman is back in business sooner than later.

So remember guys, keep on posting!

(don’t worry, I know how unreliable Alexa graph is :)  )
