I finally got the guts to upgrade my blog to the latest version of wordpress 2.5 after skipping the last 3 versions. After I made all the necessarily backups(you can read the installation tips here), I then uploaded the new files via FileZilla and rewriting the old files. It took around 30 minutes. And thank goodness the upgrade process went without a problem.

The result? I love the new look of Wordpress 2.5 dashboard:

i am still getting used to the new layout and maybe it will takes a few days to understand all the new enhancement made in this version. But I am glad that I have upgraded to 2.5.
