As I said earlier in my Top 5 recommended money makers post, I am doing an experiment of ditching Adsense completely(except for rajawang and my personal blog) in this month of *July 2008. I know some of you might say I am letting a month’s of good income down the drain but I think this is the thing that I need to do so that I can fully test life without adsense.

I am not banned from adsense. Don’t worry about that. I do receive the occasional emails from adsense e.g letting me know that sometimes my other ads in the blog looks similar to adsense and ask to change it, sometimes the contain is against some of adsense TOC etc.

I have learned a lot from Adsense since I started blogging about 14 months ago. Much much more than I ever imagine from making in this make money online world. See the screen shot below:

USD$10K is way beyond my dream when I first signup with adsense and earned $0.01 on my first day.

So what ads company shall I use other than Adsense?

I believe in giving someone another chance if he/she fails at the first time of asking. And the same goes for an advertising company. So, I will give Bidvertiser another chance although they disappoint me some time ago. Maybe the time that I gave it back then is insufficient. Now I am giving them a full month.

I will also try adbrite in some of my blogs.

I will continue with Widgetbucks since they are giving me steady income of USD70-USD100 a month from the first day I put their ads in my blogs.

Shoppingads@auctionads will again be counted to bring in at least USD50 this month.

Nuffnang will complete the lineup for this month.

My Target for this month

As you can see from the excel chart above, I earned on average of USD$140 from income other than adsense a month. So based on my calculation, I will be very happy if I can tripled that amount to around USD$400 for this month. That will be about third of what I get alltogether if I am using adsense. USD400 is around MYR1,200 in local currency and that will sufficient for me at the time being. Anything more will be a bonus.

Conclusion

I am confident that I will reach that USD$400 mark, how bad can the replacement ads fare? since I am sure that my traffic this month will be more the same with or without any ads going on.

The spider did come to my blogs and did not find any other southeast asian country ads in place. So they have given me the Nuffnang Glitterati Exclusive Member status after 2 days of waiting. I still think that I should have stick with Nuffnang from the very beginning. Well there is always a fresh start to begin with.

Hopefully I can double the Nuffnang earnings from now own and received it earlier(30 days after then end of month!).

As you can see above, I still got RM232 payment pending from April this year.

I want to be a Nuffnang Glitterati exclusive member!

Maybe I should have done it earlier but since I am earning around RM150-RM200 a month with advertlets in the beginning, I thought I can run both of these local ads together. But since advertlets is still not paying my RM400 cashout back in March, then it is time to stick to the one who is paying.

So, I have ditched all the advertlets ads in all my blogs and left only nuffnang with adsense plus widgetbucks. Some info about Nuffnang Glitterati program benefits:

I was very surprised to received a cheque from Nuffnang yesterday. Although the amount is only fro RM61.41 but it is still money! Btw,  Robb correctly predicted this cheque to arrive in Mid June in one of my post earlier. You a great man.

The Nuffnang cheque on top of my new Cordless Logitech Wave Keyboard

This is the first cheque that I receive from Nuffnang and hopefully I will be getting it on a monthly basis since I earn around RM50-RM60 a month. FYI, I immediately cash out earning that reached RM50 every month.

At least the payment history is updated and the status is not for decoration only.

If you ask me which one is better Nuffnang or Advertlets, then I have to say nuffnang based on my own experience. First they pay on time(60 days for non-exclusive member).  Secondly, the payments status is updated and third they don’t go accusing bloggers of fraud clicking etc. For advertlets, I am still waiting a RM400 cashout since March.

I am cool with any ads company as long as you pay according to your promise. That is the truth.
