The total income for July 2008 pale in comparison compared to any other month in 2008 because of one reason; the absense of google adsense in most of my biggger blogs. I have managed to get USD$1,000 - USD$1,300 monthly from adsense and ditching it affected much of last month income. Last month only bring USD$543.98 to my make money online table.

The total breakdown:

Total Income: US$543.98 ~ RM1,735.30 (based on US$1-RM3.19)

The main thing is that I now know that IF I am banned from adsense there is always other alternative to try and it is not that bad or even better in the long run.

On the bright note, adbrite did quite well for an adsense replacement and I am averaging around USD410-USD$20 from adbrite. So well, that I am going to extend this adsense free experiment to this month of August 2008. I only put adsense in this RajawangDotCom blog.

I would like to point out again that this total income is NOT from this Rajawang blog only, since I am only running Adsense, Nuffnang and Kontera in Rajawang. As I have said before, I maintained around 5 blogs that monetized well enough to earn the figures above. This is not magic, nothing good come easily. As I said earlier in my Top 5 recommended money makers post, I am doing an experiment of ditching Adsense completely(except for rajawang and my personal blog) in this month of *July 2008. I know some of you might say I am letting a month’s of good income down the drain but I think this is the thing that I need to do so that I can fully test life without adsense.

I am not banned from adsense. Don’t worry about that. I do receive the occasional emails from adsense e.g letting me know that sometimes my other ads in the blog looks similar to adsense and ask to change it, sometimes the contain is against some of adsense TOC etc.

I have learned a lot from Adsense since I started blogging about 14 months ago. Much much more than I ever imagine from making in this make money online world. See the screen shot below:

USD$10K is way beyond my dream when I first signup with adsense and earned $0.01 on my first day.

So what ads company shall I use other than Adsense?

I believe in giving someone another chance if he/she fails at the first time of asking. And the same goes for an advertising company. So, I will give Bidvertiser another chance although they disappoint me some time ago. Maybe the time that I gave it back then is insufficient. Now I am giving them a full month.

I will also try adbrite in some of my blogs.

I will continue with Widgetbucks since they are giving me steady income of USD70-USD100 a month from the first day I put their ads in my blogs.

Shoppingads@auctionads will again be counted to bring in at least USD50 this month.

Nuffnang will complete the lineup for this month.

My Target for this month

As you can see from the excel chart above, I earned on average of USD$140 from income other than adsense a month. So based on my calculation, I will be very happy if I can tripled that amount to around USD$400 for this month. That will be about third of what I get alltogether if I am using adsense. USD400 is around MYR1,200 in local currency and that will sufficient for me at the time being. Anything more will be a bonus.

Conclusion

I am confident that I will reach that USD$400 mark, how bad can the replacement ads fare? since I am sure that my traffic this month will be more the same with or without any ads going on.

I have been waiting for the Widgetbucks payment since Friday last week and only got it yesterday. Everything that pays through paypal is like music for my ears since I can withdraw it into my Visa Debit Card already. So the amount is only $116 but it still a nice sum since I heard most of the readers are not getting any luck with Widgetbucks.

Last month(May) I only got around $80 for widgetbucks and the sum seems to be declining for this June(currently only $43). Anything above the minimum payout amount of $50 is still acceptable for me. At least this money can take care some of the petrol that I buy monthly. Making money online is hard, trust me.

Withdrawing Paypal

Since I already got my Public Bank Visa Electron Debit card with PBEbank.com online services already registered, It is now a joy receiving paypal money so that I can withdraw it to the debit card.

Recently I withdrew USD500, with USD5 deducted for processing fee and I got USD495 ~ RM1,583.12.

The withdrawal process took around 5 days to be completed.

I have read somewhere that is telling everyone widgetbucks have finally join the ‘deadpool’ of making money online programs. But I can honestly say that WB is pretty much alive and the most important thing is still paying its publisher when the amount reaches $100.
